Hi! I’m Ayala!
I’m an experimental animator and mixed media artist from the
Greatest City in America–Baltimore!
In my personal work, I blend traditional and digital media to create
works that question our relationships with technology, identity, and
religion.
Recent ProjectsVejigante I is an interactive installation about masking, family, and closeness—it illustrates my internal struggle about whether to come out to my Puerto Rican family.
I also work as a freelance animator, designer, and compositor. I love making title sequences and working with musicians!
Notable Projects Include:
- Boheme in the Heights
(Director, Art Direction)
A Spanish language adaptation of the opera "La Bohème" set in Washington D.C. at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, produced by INseries Opera House. →trailer

- Expressions 2026
